The Compassion Fund

Ollie's
Story

He doesn't know he was lost for six and a half years. He just knows he's loved.

Ollie went missing when he was two years old.

Six and a half years later, someone found him. They scanned his chip. They called Catherine.

Now Ollie is twelve years old. He's home. He sleeps on the couch.

He doesn't know he was lost for six and a half years. He just knows he's loved.

That's not luck. That's a chip. A stranger who cared. A phone call. That's what the Compassion Fund is for.

Why Animals?

Because I've always had dogs and cats. Benjamin โ€“ my halfโ€‘price German shepherd โ€“ followed me to Gail's house and stayed. The Maltipoo sleeps at my feet. Our first cat was rescued. Our second cat โ€“ we found her in the Wairarapa, paying with our last penny and the change we could scrape together.

And Ollie showed me that lost things can come home.

Animals don't ask for much. Just a chance. A chip. A surgery. A full bowl. That's what we give them.

How You Can Help

Buy me a coffee ($1 or more). Your coffee does two things:

01

Every cent goes to the Compassion Fund โ€“ to animals like Ollie.

02

That's not a charity. That's a circle.
