I found it was always better to play in a team. You get together, work together, play together, produce results together. Solo is survival. Team is thriving.
"There is no 'I' in team," they said. But I looked at the T โ take away the top line, and it becomes I. So that's how you become a team. By having an I that makes it a team. Did anyone ever get that? Or is it just me x
You can always have a team. You just need that one person to come in to make it a real team.
Turns out, the team was waiting for me to show up. So I did. Then we won.
Gail and I could have had a much better result if everyone out there had allowed it. But I think there was a good 80% in my life that believed the rumours โ believed that I should not have left my father. They couldn't see my reasons.
Even though now, some of them know the truth. And all they have to do is listen. By reading.
That's why I wrote this book. Not to attack. To explain. To let the truth sit quietly on a page, waiting for anyone who's ready to see it.
I thought life was a society โ open, connected, full of people I could reach. But now I feel it's more of a cocoon.
Not a prison. A place of quiet change. You go in alone. You stay until you're ready to come out different.
I've been in a cocoon for a while now. Writing. Building. Choosing my energy.
That's not hiding. That's becoming.
When I come out, I won't be the same. That's the point.
