The Academy & the Fund
What You Leave Behind

The real victory is not in the scorecard. It's in the lives you touch along the way.

I used to think winning was the goal. Now I know: the goal is what you leave behind.

I spent years chasing trophies. I won some. I lost more. I learned that the real victory is not in the scorecard โ€” it's in the lives you touch along the way. That's why I teach.

Not the swing. The thinking behind it.

At the Brooky & Thompson Junior Golf Academy, I work with young players who want to learn. Not just the swing โ€” but the thinking behind it. The patience. The respect for the game. The mirror ritual. The proper way.

I've seen too many animals put down simply because there was no money to save them.

I also started the Compassion Fund โ€” because I've seen too many animals put down simply because there was no money to save them. I've seen families struggle. I've seen kids who just needed someone to believe in them.

So I teach. I write. I raise a dollar at a time. And I build.

Not chasing trophies. Building something that lasts.

The Academy is not just about golf. It's about showing up. The Compassion Fund is not just about animals. It's about saying yes when no one else will. That's my work now. Not chasing trophies. Building something that lasts.
